West The parade begins at Montauk Highway and Snedecor Avenue in Bayport and ends at Montauk Highway and Blue Point Avenue in Blue Point. The Suffolk County Police Department typically begins closing off streets on the parade’s route two hours before the start of the parade (11 a.m.). This year’s co-grand marshals are Craig and Wendy Clare. This year’s Patchogue St. Patrick’s Day parade will take place a week later than originally scheduled. The Village Board of Trustees on Monday voted to change the date for the parade and for the May the Road Rise Up to Meet Ye 2-mile run/walk to Sunday, March 23. Both had originally been scheduled to take place on Sunday, March 16.
